About the project

Blok 45 Art is an independent, non-commercial project dedicated to documenting and preserving street art and graffiti from Blok 45 – a modernist neighborhood in New Belgrade. This website serves as a public archive – a quiet record of those expressions before they fade or disappear.

Each wall and courtyard here reflects a fragment of the city’s visual history – works created over decades by local writers and artists, from the 1990s to today.

Graffiti

All graffiti and murals shown on this site remain the intellectual property of their original creators. All photographs can be freely downloaded, shared, and used for any purpose – personal, editorial, or creative. Attribution or linking to this project is appreciated but not required.

Some of the historical photographs were kindly sourced from
Fortyfivers Blog. Thank the authors for their effort in documenting Blok 45 long before this project existed.

About the author

This project is created and maintained by Anton Lukin – a software engineer who moved to Blok 45 in late 2022.

It began as a personal exploration of my new surroundings and gradually grew into a quiet tribute to the neighborhood that helped me through one of the most difficult periods of my life. It’s both a gesture of gratitude and an attempt to preserve the visual soul of this part of the city.
